The 835 surface acres of Evergreen Lake offer a variety of fishing opportunities for such species as Bluegill, Catfish, Crappie, Hybrid Walleye (Saugeye), Largemouth Bass, Muskie, White Bass, and Yellow Bass.

Evergreen Lake has a 10 HP Limit and a Daily Launch Fee. Call the Park Headquarters at (309) 726-2022 or visit the website at http://www.mcleancountyil.gov/parks/for complete information on rules, regulations, and facilities.

Fishing reports for the lake are available through Larry's Fishing Hole and the Park Website. Three excellent guides for Evergreen Lake are Duane Serck, Paul Center (309) 454-8942, and Thad Hinshaw (309) 726-1860.
